Over 40 New Google Search Changes
Google just announced in late February that they are rolling out over 40 new changes to it’s search algorithm. From what I have seen, most of these concern keeping the content in their search results more recent and targeted toward more local results.
However, there are several changes to the policy about how links are viewed and how they affect your site’s visibility in their rankings.
What Should You Do About It?
The first thing to do would be to see where your site shows up on Google as compared to where it used to be. “Google” a search term that you think people might use to look for a business or organization like yours. Then, see where you fall in the list that is returned. You might get a boost with the new changes. On the other hand, I have heard from some, that their sites have dropped considerably.
How Do I Know If My Site Changed?
